Thanks Ron. They are 1/2 yellow and dropping from
the tree - about half of them. I grew them from seed that a man in Shreveport,
LA gave me. Variety unknown. R. D. O'Barr
What was the variety, and how ripe did you let them get? Quince
can be very aromatic, but not all varieties are as intense as some like
Pineapple, and even the best don't develop full character until they are
completely ripe, meaning a deep lemon yellow, in most. -Lon
