Couiple more thoughts. (not so long this time).
For branch training, I use a short length of nylon cord or rope like 12
inches, and a clothespin. Wrap cord around the branch and the stake or
branch and wire at a point that needs to be held, then clothespin the two
ends of the rope to hold it. Easy to move around and adjust.
