I would like to compare notes with anyone growing the following red/pink fleshed apples, especially in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast U.S. I'd like to know your location, USDA zone, the ripening date, flavor, texture, size and susceptability to any particular disease/fungus/insect pest. The varieties are:<<<<
Pink Pearl
Rubyiat
Webster Pink Meat
Scarlet Surprise (Bill's Red Flesh)
Niedzwetzkyana
Almata
Winter Red Flesh
Pink Sparkle (Pink Permain)
Hall's Pink
Mott's Pink
Pink Parfait
Pink Princess (Old Pink Lady Janson)
Bruford's Red Flesh
If you have pink/red flesh varieties that aren't listed above I'd like to hear about them. Thanks. Chris Patterson SE Pa Zone 6 _______________________________________________
