Lucky, I think it is the Broussonetia papyrifera and I have never seen the
fruit either. I just saw the tree/bush in the town of Yoshino. I asked if
it is the same as they feed to silk worms and was laughingly told it wasn't.
I have never seen it in this Country, or didn't recognize it if I did. I
speak the language, but something is lost in the translation. I think
something else is lost when it is called "Mulberry" in English. I don't see
the connection. The paper is beautiful and is used to wrap fine gift
presents. Looks like nice strong toilet tissue, but I believe that the
toilet tissue there is made of rice straw.
