Subject: [NAFEX] Early Spring Pollinator Attractors/Feeders for the US mid Atlantic

Thank you Lon R. and Richard M. Those suggestions will keep me and my
bees busy for some time to come! I like the idea of using native plants.
Now, I wish there were some plant that would attract flies in the early
spring for my Paw Paws. Last year we had a load of too-green
chicken/sawdust/horse manure delivered late winter, and it had to sit
and cook [and draw flies]. It worked great. Lots of little tiny flies
were shooting around the Prolific Paw Paw tree. When I get one of the
other Paw Paws blooming, I may order some more [manure] to ensure
pollination. I wish there were another way, however.
