Lisa, you might try looking at some of the sites advertising nutcrackers
on the Northern Nut Growers Assn. Web site, http://www.icserv.com/nnga/index.html

Subject: [NAFEX] hazelnut nutcracker hammer
A friend told me some time ago that he used a special
hammer to shell hazelnuts, shaped to hold the nut,
and very fast and easy to use. A quick internet
search does not show up anything like this; anyone
have any idea what I'm talking about?
