Last year I made a trade with a neighbor. In exchange for multiple
bushels of Northern Spies from her big old neglected trees, I would
make some effort to bring them back into balance. Well, I got through
three of the six trees, each one taking approximately six hours. This
year I bought myself a pruning chainsaw- I suspect each of those trees
would take me about one hour now. Use the right tool!
