Robert, I have successfully propagated Glenndale in the past by layering
branches near the ground. This will take one growing season. The rooted
branches can then be detached from the mother plant and transplanted that
fall or the following spring. -- Sam Brungardt, Saint Paul, Minn. (Zone 4b)

I have some Glendale Gooseberries I would like to try
rooting.
I have read it is best to do it in the fall.
Can I still have success in the spring?
Anyone have any tips?
Robert
