An interesting observation during these cold winter
months; something to tease the brain: I've sprouted and planted seeds 4
times from my calamondine oranges (they are from my basement orchard for
the winters here in zones 4/5 SE Wis). I get good sprouting; but notice
again in this batch an albino (or nearly so) seedling. I am surprised at
this high a mutation rate; I've had at least one in each batch, with anywhere
from 2-10 healthy seedlings. comments?
