I've got the wood stove running constantly now and I generate 5 to 10 gallons of ashes a month. I'm assuming these would be full of beneficial trace minerals. I've got typical New England acidic soil as well. Would spreading ashes lightly in a circle around the drip line of my peaches, plums, pears, and cherries be a good idea? Thanks in advance for feedback.
