In effect, there is not much information on perry pear hardiness. We have
to test them... I have 6 cultivars in zone 4 and they appear relatively
hardy althought I haven't had them long enough to be able to say for sure.
They are: Thorn, Gin, Winnal's Longdon, Hendre Huffcap, Yellow Huffcap,
Blakeney Red.
Also, Golden Spice is a hardy pear cultivar that appears to have good
properties for perry making - the first test I made was quite good.
