I don't necessarily mind trying that, but I still don't have a source for either and I'm not sure if these two varieties are patented or not. I eventually plan on doing some of that, but would like to get more fruit trees actually growing/producing before I play since I'm < 1 year into my fruit growing experience.> Can anybody give me some information on a couple of Apple varieties I just got a chance to try and liked. I'm trying to find varieties that will grow well around my area (Central Indiana Zone 5b) and hopefully have good disease resistance. I tried a couple from a local orchard and liked them so I'm hopeful since they grow them that they're adapted to this area. If anyone knows of a source I could get them from that would be helpful too. They are Early Blaze and Paula Red.

Heelo,
Why not get scions and rootstock and graft your own? It is simle to do, cost effective, and a very helpful skill if you have a real interest in fruit.
You most likely have someone in the area who could do it for you, if you supplied the scions.
Later,
Tom
