This fig sounds like an essential addition to my collection. Anyone
growing this? Im struggling abit with the claim that it survived -10F
however. & the only source Ive found so far is TyTy Nursery selling
bigger plants, would love to find some cuttings or smaller plants.

this is the listing on the TYTY website:
Tennessee Mountain: (Ficus carica 'Tennesee Mountain') Perhaps the
coldest hardy fig ever discovered, the original tree was found growing
in 1945 near Nashville Tennessee, where it had survived the bitter cold
winters to -10 degrees F. in the snow-covered mountains of the
Appalachians. The original tree was sent to a scientist at the Georgia
Coastal Plains Experiment Station for testing and was sold by Dr. Silas
Harmon in 1978 to Ty Ty for $500.00. This tree has never failed to
produce a large crop of fruit for twenty years and has become the most
popular fig tree sold by Ty Ty for cold climates. Zones 6-11
