Pete,
The arboretum in Seattle has a few of these growing.  I checked them last week.  They were in bloom, but so far no fruit has set.  They are scrubby looking bushes only a couple of feet high.  They might be too young to set fruit.

Subject: [NAFEX] Chilean Guava

Hello
Has anyone tried the Chilean Guava....Myrtus ugni.sp???
It looks interesting, but have no idea how it fruits, availability or taste. Think it will make it ok here in zone 8b in Louisiana.
Thanks, Pete
