Hello all:
Craig Ledbetter (sp?) sent me some scionwood of some of the Pakistan
apricots that they had grown. Two of the selections took. They
survived -17F and appear to be very resistant to bacterial spot. http://www.oznet.ksu.edu/dp_hfrr/extensn/problems/pchbcspt.htm
The fruit are small and ripen later than anything else I have. They
bloomed a day or two earlier....reports of their blooming late may be
related to their wanting higher chilling requirements than California
delivered.
