If you want to get that soil PH down below 6.6, try iron sulfate.

Don,

I cannot seem to locate Iron sulfate in my area - is there a few trade names I might look for?

Keith:

I usually buy iron sulfate at the Southern States Co-op; the brand name they carry is Dragon, from the Dragon Co. of Roanoke, VA. I have also seen it at a few nurseries, and it may be available at some Lowes or Home Depot stores, but probably not all of them.
