I think the idea about being chased by bumble bees is in error. I have
heard they are attracted by odors emanated by a body in fear states, but
they only pursue for a few yards. I suggest that the pursuing insects
in the range of 100 yards were blow flies which are strongly attracted
to the odor of excretement.
A video of this event could lend evidence to the contrary and could also
be bought by "America's Funniest Videos".
