Here is a link to instructions for a newspaper pot folded in origami style.
Folding is a bit of a challenge, but it makes a really cool square pot. http://www.geocities.com/dyanito/pots.htm
Pots can also be made by just rolling a tube and smashing one end together.
Pot makers are sold for doing this, but here is a link showing how to do the
same with a water glass http://www.global-garden.com.au/gardenkids_make3.htm
Have fun.

Subject: [NAFEX] Nursery Cans & Flower Pots
An electronic newsletter to which I subscribe urges people to either buy
nursery cans and flower pots immediately or order them fast. Gardeners
should start hoarding. Don't throw away pots. The reason is:
A war with Iraq could lead to very high container prices, according to
container manufacturers. Crude oil is used to make plastic pots, and it has
risen from $16 per barrel 6 months ago to $35 today. A war could raise
prices to $50 and beyond.
