Hello all:
The following is a webpage from CDC with a discussion about unusual
behaviors that are sometimes caused by disease organisms. Scroll down
to "Elsewhere in Nature....Some time ago..." and read about
parthenogenesis. The author does not mention aphids, a common sucking
insect, but they also reproduce parthenogenecally.
Can anything be more incestuous than parthenogenesis?
