I support a research station near Seattle that has an on-going hard cider
project. The following link, the 2002 report, has a description of hard
cider varieties. http://mtvernon.wsu.edu/frt_hort/ciderapples.htm

rootstocks
Does anyone have any opinions on the following
cider apples?
Chisel Jersey
Harry Master's Jersey
Dabinett
Yarlington Mill
I have a Kingston Black, and was thinking of grafting more cider apples this
Spring.
On apples in general: Can anyone tell me an "average" production of apples
from a apple on M26 or Bud 9? Thinking
of buying some bushel baskets and kind of wondering what quantity I should
get (or should I be getting smaller
baskets instead? :-)
