I have good germination results. Remember, layer of seed, layer of peatmoss,
layer of seed etc., capping the container off with a plug of peatmoss. I do
store a couple of bushel of apples and 100 gallons of cider but on problems.

Bruce,
How's your germination rate using your method? Do you have apples also
stored in your root cellar?
