I went to the grocery store and what did my eyes behold but the largest
Honeycrisp apples I had ever seen. To give you an idea the three apples I
purchased were .79, .77, .84 100's of a pound. Basically all of them were
3/4 pounders. Wow...that is a lot of apple. The taste was pretty good too,
not the best Honeycrisps I have had, but I noticed the blander taste common
on those grown in warmer districts and those grown without calcium sprays.
By the by, even at 1.99 a lb the were selling out fast.
