Joe, the berries are still in the fridge, until I can get around to either
cleaning the seeds & stratifying, or just mashing the fruits out flat and
planting in pot or nursery bed and letting Ma Nature do her thing with 'em.
I can't SWEAR that it's Callaway, but the fruit sure looked & tasted like
mine. It was in the putt-putt golf course at an entertainment center behind
Applebee's on Nicholasville Rd., at Nicholasville. If you're looking for
scionwood, I'll be glad to send you some this winter. It's a tasty little
crab - fruits are not all that big - it used to be classified as an 'edible'
type, but other than myself I think everyone else considers it to be an
ornamental anymore.
