Hi
I questioned Neal Peterson on his recommedations of Ph for Pawpaws.
I don't think he will mind my passing on his thoughts.

Those of you who don't know who Neal is, Neal was featured in the Wall
Street Journal a few years ago on his pawpaw work in Washington of a very
large grove of pawpaws.

Gordon,
I think pH 6.5 is probably best. But pH 5.5-7.0 should be just fine. Good
drainage is just as important as pH. And then next in importance is
fertility, freedom from competing vegetation, and then good soil organic
matter (3% would be excellent).
