Doc
I had some growing from seed I got from a College in northern Arizona.
I couldn't take care of them when I had open heart surgery in '95.
There gone.
There are some that grow in the snowing cold regions of Uzbekistan
Russia. I had found a person of horticulture of the region, there was a
reason why they might not survive here. Don't remember. Also Oiko's nursery
here in western Michigan Ken Asmus oak@aol.com was trying to grow some,
I had 10 of the seedlings to try out. None of mine survived. He may be able
to give you a lot of info.

Anyone tried growing these who lives out of the great state of
California? I heard that they were grown commercially in North Carolina
at one time.
