Bob:
Riparian rights have always been a bit daft in Utah. I grew-up in Heber. Do
you irregate from a canal etc? Can you haul water to get your trees through
this mess? There is a drought in mid Michigan. I haul water to 130 young
trees --keeps me in shape!
Regarding the lawn watering in Utah, it is considered a right. Remember, the
desert shall blossom like a rose. It is nuts.
Good luck
Bruce

Subject: [NAFEX] drought
Here in Utah we suffered a severe late spring frost that devetated the
pie cherry crop. Now the authorities are warning that because of the
drought there may not be enough water to keep the orchards alive. All
this while folks continue to gaily water their lawns every day. Am I
missing something here?
