Hi all:

Another rootstock question.

The standard rootstock description for MM111 is "...wide branch angles
on the scion variety...."

How strong of an influence does the rootstock have on the branch angle
of the scion variety? What is the mechanism? Are the narrow branch
angles of Bradford seedlings transmitted to scion variety of pears?

Best regards, Joe
