I disagree with Sam. My salmonberries are nice to eat. I don't think this is
a matter of opinion, but is rather a case of genetic diversity.
I live on a long narrow lot and salmonberries form a thicket down one side
of my property. I don't find them invasive. I enjoy the look of the brown
thickets in spring, dotted with hot pink blooms. There you go! A completely
different opinion.
