A local nursery which advertises nationally, Musser Forests, sells American
chestnuts. I have two of theirs growing in my yard; only about 3 years
old, but doing well. Time will tell if they're resistant, or if we're in a
blight-free pocket here in northwestern PA (zone 5), or if they will
succumb to the disease. It's worth a try, though!
