Victoria
I call them Mother trees. I have had up to 77 varieties of apple on one
tree. I now have 21 varieties of pawpaw on three trees.

Hi all,
For a couple of years I've been using the term 'multivar' for some apple
and plum trees that I have been using to save varieties for future
scions or to fruit stuff I find and want to watch, (apple multivar/plum
multivar). Does anyone know if this word exists? It sounds too easy and
descriptive to not already have been coined. ..................vic
