Subject: [nafex] bug searches
A post (from this last winter I believe) left an impression, perhaps by the
flufster, that anyone considering ipm or organic has got to become a
backyard entomologist, magnifier in hand.
We had a recent most amazing moment discovering and watching some form of
giant ichneuman wasp using its three 4" ovipositors coming out of a stunning
tanslucent 5/8" round 'pump' on its thorax. breath taking!
I've spent over an hour searching insect sites, but have not found a realy
good one. It seems they are mostly technical copy for taxonomy
classification, or have just a few photo examples within each genera.
Care to share favorite bug sites? Thanks Mn. Del
