Rabbits produce two types of fecal pellets - the 'regular' ones that fall
through the wire mesh of the cages(or that you find in your lawn/garden),
and moister 'night pellets', which are 'recycled'. Rabbits are
hindgut(large intestine) fermenters, and these specialized 'night pellets'
contain large amounts of B-vitamins, produced by the bacterial/protozoal
microflora of the cecum and colon. Those little ol' 'smart pills'?
