Hi Una
I am not to sure what you are actually after , but you gave me a great idea.
When we get brand new members in the unit they invariably get confused with
the abundance of acronyms and SES speak.
e.g sitrep , mp ,IC ,SMEAC etc. I am going to look into this and maybe make
up a dictionary for our newbies.
Cheers

Subject: [MSAR] Activity controlled vocabulary
So I am thinking about developing a training log book for MSAR. One thing
many SAR log books have is a controlled vocabulary of activity type. I
request your assistance developing a controlled vocabulary for MSAR
activities.
Here is one controlled vocabulary from a dog training log that I use.

How do you characterize your SAR horse training activities? What words do
you use when you talk about your activities with SAR team mates?
