I started using borium studs early last spring – I use
them year round since we are in an area that can also include urban searches on
blacktop. Riding a shod horse on blacktop scares me – it’s
like the horse is wearing roller skates! These aren’t screw in
studs, he hammers them into the shoe. My horse is gaited, my concern
switching was a potential tendon injury, so we took it very easy for several
