The TROTSAR Mounted Search & Rescue Team Inc. is proud to host a Self
Defense for Trail Riders clinic taught by Scot Hansen,. If you've seen
Scot's demonstration at horse expos in recent years, or even have
watched his DVD, riding in this half-day clinic is a once in a lifetime
experience. And it could well save your life if you found yourself in
trouble on the trails. We've heard stories from riders all over the US
and even abroad about being harassed or attacked while trail riding.
Since Scot is a former mounted police officer, he has the perfect
solutions that he teaches riders in this clinic. Learn:
* How to recognize a human predator
* How to avoid an attack in the first place
* How to safely stay in the saddle if you're attacked
* How to teach your horse how to help you get out of a dangerous situation
The clinic fee is $100; auditors are $25. It will take place on October
4, 2008 in Bryans Road, Maryland. There are only a couple of riding
slots remaining for the morning and afternoon sessions. Registration
information can be found at www.trotsar.org
