Our unit's mounted training has four components: mock
search, obstacle course (drag a tire and barrel, side
pass to a gate, open a mailbox, back thru an L, cross
a bridge), equitation, and sensory ( a group exercise
where a horse is desensitized to things like
umbrellas, rattles, flares, etc.)
