Subject: [MSAR] FW: Western Hardhat Questions Not for Horseback Riding

Folks,
I sent a request for clarification direct to Outlaw. As you can read
below, "These hats are not approved for horse-back riding". My opinion
- You are safer in a straw hat then in these if you fall or are thrown
from your mount.
End of discussion.

Larry Raskin,
Thank you for your interest in The Western Outlaw. These hats are not
approved for horse-back riding. They are ANSI/OSHA approved for
oilfield
work and construction workers. They meet ANSI standards Z89.1-2003 Type
1
G,E,C classes.
We have had a handful of orders from people who wish to use them for
horse
back riding and they usually are looking for something with a chin
strap.
Our hats do have a connection for a chin strap, but are not sold with
one by
us.
We have a distributor in Texas who carries our Outlaw and they offer a
chin
strap, their contact info is as follows:
If calling to order or ask questions please refer to the Western Outlaw
Hardhat and the Universal Chin Strap.
I hope this information has been useful. Please let me know if you
require
any further information. I will be happy to help in any way I can.
Thank you again for your interest and we hope you find exactly what you
are
looking for.
Best Regards,
Courtney Applewhite
