Some Red Cross chapters have a volunteer Chaplain team and during a SAR are
willing to provide non-denominational general comfort to the family ...
prayer if requested ... or simply be present if someone wants to talk. Our
Sheriff's Dept also has volunteer Chaplains. Best if they also have some
training in disaster psychology / crisis and stress management. We routinely
call out Chaplains to the location where the family is waiting.
