We had an equine first aid training session with a vet. Time
was limited, so it was all show and tell. I would like to have
a class like a standard first aid class, where the students do
some hands-on stuff. Specifically: roll wraps; wrap legs;
apply bandages; remove a shoe; replace a shoe (using a metal,
easy boot, or other type of shoe, duct tape, whatever); put
on tack properly (eg, no breastplate or back cinch before the
front cinch); repair a lost or broken bridle (eg, use string
to hang the bit from the horse's forelock); repair/replace a
broken cinch; etc.
Barbara, exactly when and where will ESCAPE 2004 be held?
