I log to Fox to check the news and see the headline "Time to Sell
Healthcare" alongside a pic of Pelosi and the teaser line reading:
'House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sends Dem lawmakers memo saying they should
convey the immediate benefits of health care to constituents while on
recess'.
Now, didn't we just debate this for months on end, held town hall
meetings, etc. for no reason at all? I mean the Dems had the majority
from the get go and could have passed this thing months ago. Correct me
if I am missing something here, but wasn't the time to sell healthcare
BEFORE the bill was passed?
And then the story that goes with the headline is this one:*

*Democratic Senator: Health Care Law to Address 'Mal-Distribution of
Income'*
My thinking is that is an interesting new term for socialism...what a
slap in the face. As a poor person, I don't want a charitable
contribution taken from the pockets of someone who possibly has worked
harder in life than I have. You do that, and pretty soon everyone is
poor and there is no longer anyone to start new businesses, boost the
economy, etc.
And then there is this..
Despite GOP objections, Obama uses recess appointments to fill 15 posts
without Senate confirmation,
Lovely...
I've changed my sig file back to share the wisdom of Thomas Jefferson...
