Well said Rob, I agree. We should all do the best we can to not pollute and
promote
cleaner energy etc, because it is the right thing to do, but no matter what
we do,
we cannot alter the bigger global patterns any more than a special tax will
help cut
down on sun spots.

No matter how much money you put in someone's pocket it is not going
to change the earth's cycles (the cycles last tens of thousands of years).
Let's put money into things that don't pollute, spend the money on
R&D and find cleaner ways of doing what we do.
Easy to say, hard to do.. Too much money flowing and too much
propaganda shaping opinions.
