Tell me about it. We still have no snow. Well, last week, Wednesday, we
had *some* snow. The CHP and CalTrans were so shocked they posted warnings
all over the place (chains or snow tires and 4-wheel drive required) for the
only two ways out of here. Ah, there wasn't even enough snow to justify
them running the blades over the roads! Certainly not enough for chains!
In fact, if anyone had listened to their reports they would have torn the
road up something aweful.
So, here we are with no snow, slim to none on the rain side and gardens that
don't know what to do because there is no more "normal" year be it rainfall,
snowfall or when the frost come and when the nights will be cool.

Can we now have our 'normal' weather back, too? I don't like setting new
weather records all the time...every garden year is completely different
