Part of the problem with the whole discussion is that there isn't a "whole" discussion and can't/won't ever be one. The different sections of this country are like whole different countries.
Where I grew up there were no black/white drinking fountains or bathrooms or use the back of the bus. It was like reading about people living in another country.
I did learn a lot about the whole mind set from Grampa Charlie (Tennessee) and my nanny (Georgia) but it was still way different than what was on television. Of course, neither of them lived in the big cities. They lived rural. So there you have a whole other "country" too.
Personally, I think we've gone WAY overboard with this whole PC thing. Screaming "racism" has become an excuse to stop people from looking at the real problem(s).
