From: "sjc" <indexer AT fairpoint.net>Most of the loaders around here have webbing with hooks in it; the webbing goes around on a diagonal slant and the hooks pick up from the windrow as they clear the bottom of the machine, then as they go over the top, drop the hay onto a following wagon, where someone forks it to the back of the wagon. I'll see if I can find a picture of one.
I've been thinking hay, anyway, lately, as I have been repairing webs
for a hay loader. MOFGA is having a workshop soon on how to repair
loose-hay loaders, so my basement if full of webbing everywhere, getting
ready for that.
Susan Jane; I'm curious about this. We bought and repaired an old loose hay loader. I love working with loose hay. What's webbing?
