Warren - you are SO not alone!
I try to delete all the 'just comments', but still have ended up with
thousands of posts that I want to keep and re-read.
Where does one draw the line between 'collector' and 'hoarder' and
"crazy-old-lady-who-keeps-cats?"
I save everything, and sometimes I remind myself of (the written version of)
"My Brother's Keeper", where the authorities have to wend their way through
ceiling-high stacks of old newspapers and other junk to solve the mystery.

I presently have 9,800+ articles in my homestead email folder, 90% unread.
I'm certain there is a lot of missed good advice in them, but the plan for
2009 is divesting myself of unused "stuff".
I've browsed the archives and have faith I'll be able to find things likely
to interest or concern me going forward.
I'm not signing off, just cleaning house. Anyone else relying on the
archives?
