I was at the local feed store last week looking at fencing. They seemed to
have a lot of it, in many different types. The price has gone up, but then
I haven't bought any fencing for many years, so I haven't been tracking the
price. I need some to keep the chickens out of the tomatoes; I'm thinking of
going with the stiff plastic deer fencing; it's cheaper than metal and
easier to work with.

Last month - learned about shortages of chicken wire.
Yesterday, getting LP, learned that there are shortages of LP gas equipment
parts - same reason stated as down at the feed farm supply store about
chicken wire........ manufacturers bankrupt, and dealers going out of
business.
If anyone is out shopping at small businesses, please start making
inquiries, casual conversation. Suspect we need to know if shortages are
getting widespread or are localized.
Anyone finding out about shortages please post.
