You pegged it! I figger <g> that's what we'all get for being cursed with
intellectual curiosity and a concern for our fellow (insert gender here).
I came to a momentous decision yesterday and decided that this morning I am
going to turn the computer OFF. Aside from the power outage several months
ago, it has been on 24/7 since I arrived 13 months ago. It is an evil
magnet. I
sleepwalk to it before I even head for the coffeepot at 3 a.m. every morning.
I have been in the hospital 3 days - and then 4 days - in the last couple of
months, and in retrospect I recall that my main concern was not so much with
the condition of my gall bladder...but was the fact that I knew my inbox was
getting full! (Well, I guess one's gall-bladder is a sort of inbox, but I'm
not trying to be funny).
AOL cuts me off at 1000 messages. And it's not 'cause I'm so popular - it's
because I save so much stuff as 'new' so that I can respond...
The twin appetites for knowledge and the need to communicate are both a
blessing and a curse.

I read it, too. Interesting reading. I don't always comment on the
"link" posts. Some I delete, some I check out, some I spend more time
with.
