Actually the retirees don't buy much from me. It's the professionals from
town...my best customer was the principal of one of the high schools. They
moved away, but came back to buy beef.
There aren't a lot of people here interested in local food, either buying or
selling. My Farmers' Market folded. I talked to the market manager of the
other one, and they didn't do very well last year. I get the same handful of
customers at my farmstand, but many of the 'regulars' buy beef in bulk.
