It's a strange headspace you are in, then, Bob. As I pointed out, even if
Chopra were a complete charlatan (which is not in evidence), even if you
bought
absolutely everything he sold, you'd spend less than a trip for two to a good
restaurant. Yet just review in your head for a second on how much you have
spent on "health care" cost over your life and what the results are.
Sort of like this:
"I betcha that guy's a fake, just out for my money! Why I'm not going to be
taken, I'm not going to spend $12 on his book! See what you've done now, you
made me lose track of these medical bills I was going over.... let's see ...
radiologist to read unnecessary ultra sound .. $200 ... drug that would be
unnecessary if I quit smoking and spaded in the garden ... $500 .... sessions
with
a shrink ... $150 each for a toatal this year of $2000 ...... Yes sir! I'm
no fool. I'm not going give that guy $12 for something that may or may not
work .... where was I? Superfluous examination ... $250 .... ninety
second
consultation with some specialist or the other .... $300 ..... Geesh! The
very thought that I'd throw $12 away like that .....
