You won't here that from me. The thing that this story misses is that
this is not good, healthy manure. I've thought about trying to hook up
with a poultry factory around here to get some manure that my fields
badly need, but am afraid of all the other stuff that's in it.
We need a push to increase local farmers raising pastured poultry,
where that manure grows grass to raise pastured beef. These are not
chicken farmers, they are ex-farmers who mortgaged their land to build
factory farm buildings and are at the mercy of Tyson/Perdue. for their
livelihood.
